Fall | l'Automne - Part I

October marks a spectacular shift in Nature's wardrobe, making it nearly impossible not to take a seat and stare at her ensembles of golden yellows, burnt and chalky oranges, with reds peeking through standing by, sure to dazzle in the coming days...
I hope you're enjoying Fall's splendor where you are!

Oh what a beautiful way to mark the beginning of October & fall! Now I can't wait for our trees to turn! (There's some dullish brown here and there, but it doesn't feel like colors are truly changing...yet:)
ReplyDeleteMy daily walks to and from my son's bus stop make for great Fall gazing! Like you Lulu, there's lots of brownish leaves that have fallen here near Washington, DC - but magnificent color patches abound! Hope your trees turn very soon :)
DeleteLoving this fall collection, Catherine! My favorites are the rows of pumpkins (they almost look like little baked pumpkin cupcakes), the various squashes and corn (makes me want to make a cozy soup), and the blanket of autumn leaves (I can feel the crisp air and I can hear the rustle of leaves below my feet). Such a gorgeous presentation of fall. I am swooning!
ReplyDeleteThank you Charmaine! I can't wait to see how Fall looks in your corner of the globe, Seattle ;) Wish I could taste some of your autumnal soups...
DeleteThe fall collection is so lovely! My favorites are the leaves, the colors look so amazing! It is beautiful how you show fall!
ReplyDeleteAlways love your sweet comments Alexa, thank you! I hope you're enjoying this gorgeous Fall scenery and low temperatures (bundle up! ... time to jump on all those piles of leaves ;)
DeleteThis photo collection is making me so happy and SO jealous! I am DYING to see some autumn colors here in CA but alas our Fall season has yet to arrive! My favorite is of the pretty little fallen leaf in the second row. I love the close-up and I love the fact that you noticed that lovely leaf as well as took the time to photograph it. Its moments like that that bring a smile to my face. :) Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much Jamie! It's really wonderful to find others that share a common sensitivity to the natural world. As I say that, I realize it's not just some of us really, we're ALL a part of it and so drawn to it in different ways. I appreciate your visits and comments so much :) Hope the Fall colors come around to Southern CA very soon!
DeleteNice! Perfect fall photos... I think my two favorites are the single orange leaf and the pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteHello Amy, thank you for your visit and comments :) ... and Happy Fall!!
