It is freezing in the Pacific Northwest, to visit you her with these warm colors and hints of summer was perfect timing, Catherine! Thank you for sharing your invincible summer :)
ReplyDeleteKeep warm + healthy Charmaine :) I hope our winters won't be too harsh this year...
DeleteA lovely, soothing sight for winter-sore eyes! You caught some real magic in Valbonne, love how the palettes differ but all convey that same French warmth, wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lulu! :)
DeleteI love the beauty in the imperfections -- the cracks in the wall, the rusted paint, etc. Sometimes expat life isn't always easy, and for me, taking time to notice the positives that are right in front of us can help me to put things in perspective when I'm having a bad day. ReplyDeleteI imagine expat life can be difficult at times Diane (I've read your posts, which help to see the flip side of such a golden coin!). But I love your positive attitude and perspective. Thank you for the new year wishes! I hope your 2013 is an extraordinary one…
DeleteP.S. I'll always remember this line from an old Colin Firth film: "Everything beautiful is slightly lopsided". Amen.
