The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours.
No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that,
during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen.
And the fact that it practically always doesn’t, matters not a jot.
The possibility is always there.

ReplyDeleteOh, my heart. These are stunning! (and I've had such an odd day ... started of great, and then had some completely unexpected physical hiccups... so these words were bery encouraging! Early to bed and a new beginning tomorrow!)
ReplyDeleteThank you Adrienne, so good to hear that... hoping your tomorrow brought improved health and even greater possibilities :)

ReplyDeleteTo capture that one lighted window and the dawn light behind the tree - you have such an eye for beauty. Your photos show the infinite possibilities of the day! I saw a poster on Pinterest that made me think of you - I'll see if I can send it to you, Catherine.
ReplyDeleteYou're too kind Barb, thank you (and welcome back :) Will look out for the poster...
DeleteThank you so much ladies for your very kind comments :)
ReplyDeleteThe first picture with the light in the window... It tells many stories: a mother been up the whole night with a sick child or a newborn baby, a young couple having theit first fight , a doctor coming home after a long night at a hospital ...etc .
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures and lovely words.
ohh I love these stories Karen... and the idea that we many never know is ok. Our imagination is left to continue wandering and wondering. Thank you :)
DeleteThese photos are breathtaking! I am in awe, just so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the light in these...the light in the window and light in the sky.
ReplyDeleteThat photo of the sunrise in the distance behind the architecture is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the first shot with only one person awake with the light on! The sky in the second shot reminds me of sherbet.
ReplyDeleteJust so beautiful, something very calm and tranquil about these images
