Like me, my sons are enamored with the pigeons of Paris (remember this post at the Louvre). There are roughly 25 pigeons for each city inhabitant! And wherever we go, I suspect my sons search out their lot of 25 ;)
Jardin du Luxembourg is such a lovely garden. We really enjoyed the gardens of Paris - they are wonderful places for people to meet, to people watch, and for families to play. Obviously your son thought the pigeons were great too! Have a lovely week.
I love to watch children with pigeons. They are convinced that one day they will catch one, or get very close to a wild creature that has the magical ability to fly! Beautiful photos, beautiful garden.
A beautiful place to spend a couple of hours and watch the life pass by ...or to go on a pigeon hunt! Lovely images , especially the action photo . I had no idea that there 25 pigeons per city inhabitant....which makes me wonder about the number of rats...per person :(
Gorgeous photos but that first one-- love it!! This reminds me so much of a fountain in San Juan where there are hundreds of pigeons. Actually they are all over the city. Suddenly I find myself reminiscing of that place which I visited as a child. :)
