I liked the sampling of photos. Sometimes the structure grabs my eye more than the "art!" The glass ceiling orbs are really something. That dropped blue ceiling is also so interesting. You have 2 art-lovers!
I don't always "get" modern art - but it can be fun trying! It looks like a fascinating gallery. Are the boys drawing on the wall or just looking? Have a wonderful weekend. I hope Paris is settling down after the past tragedies.
Gorgeous images and a great philosophical question. I know what your son meant, but really it kind of sums up art being in the eye of the beholder. Whatever we see as art, is! I love that you get to be surrounded by such beauty and inspiration every day. That's my dream. The 'burbs just do not provide that for me.

ReplyDeleteWhat a perceptive comment! I confess that my favorite thing about this place was the view of Paris at rooftop level!!
ReplyDeleteThese are fun! Makes me want to add this to our already-packed Paris itinerary! Truthfully, I can't wait to see the architecture.
ReplyDeleteI loved this photo tour, thanks for taking us there, it has been too long since I've last visited!
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly true, the line - has there ever been one? - is really thin and that's what makes the visit so special.
