Bare branches remain along with a slight chill, but the smallest of buds have pushed through and color begins to fill the Jardin des Plantes as Paris tiptoes into Spring. I wish I could bottle up this sunshine... it is the most welcome gift of the season after so many long months of cold and grey.
How's your Spring coming along?

Wow - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely flower buds! Great view of the trees-path. Happy Spring to you.
ReplyDeleteOne can only dream.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so wonderful about those first spring buds, isn't there? And in Paris, they have to be extra wonderful! Reminds me of 'I love Paris in the springtime ... '
ReplyDeleteLived right down the street from here for a couple of years! My son was born when we lived here....this was his first park. Is the sandbox with the big dinasaur still there?? My daughter rode her first tricycle here!! We loved this place. The museum is just amazing too!! Wow! What a treat to see these shots!
ReplyDeleteWhat a park to have as your first playground! I would love to see your photos of Paris with your children and hear the stories of your life here (my family lives nearby as well... we love the museums and zoo! :). As for the sandbox, I can't say I've ever seen it... I'll have to look around more closely. Is it in the playground along the Seine (by Jardin Tino Rossi I'm wondering...)
