After a short heatwave in July followed by a brilliant Summer of warm sunny days, Paris, as brazen and impetuous as she is beautiful and beguiling, decided before the end of the season that it was a fine time to switch wardrobes... and so just like that we fell into Fall and autumnal rituals - hot chocolate, thicker blankets, added layers, the crackle of falling golden leaves underfoot.
Here we go ready or not!.... have you cozied into the new season?

Beautiful autumnal tones! Love the metallic pops! Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, yes! Next time I come to Paris (and there will be a next time!) it will be in early September. Just beautiful, Catherine.
ReplyDeleteI'll give you an update of Autumn in Paris in mid-late October, Dotti... most of the leaves have turned by then and the city, covered in gold, is even more beautiful. Stay tuned! :)
DeleteBeautiful autumn!
ReplyDeleteI bet Paris is stunning in the fall.
I hope you'll come link up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/09/shake-those-tail-feathers.html
Looks like you will have a beautiful Paris autumn, Catherine. Here in NH we had summer temps this week, but a day long rain should bring in cooler temperatures and hopefully beautiful fall scenics.
ReplyDeleteOh, so pretty! Just lovely tones and colors. I bet there is nothing like autumn in Paris!
ReplyDeleteHere in new england, near Boston, it has been quite warm still though today it is supposed to cool down quite a bit. Love your images...very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. You have really captured the essence of the season.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I am beginning to embrace autumn...but it's always hard to let summer go!
ReplyDeleteThese are just stunning images! We don't see colors like that here in Louisiana and don't even have a legitimate Fall. We pretty much go straight from Summer to Winter. Everything here right now is still green and lush.
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about autumn is all the beautiful colours and you have captured them perfectly

These images are perfection. You draw me in each and every time I visit and I feel something. That makes you an artiste, my friend!
ReplyDeleteOh... these are great photos of this wonderful autumn season. I do love the pic of the single leaf on the bench. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteSaw your link at Little Things Thursday.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend...
Brenda
Thank you all so much for your very kind comments! xo
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your son with his camera. I was thinking this morning that I wish one of my grandchildren would take an interest in photography. My oldest grandson enjoyed the camera a couple years ago, but he has since moved on to other things. Our first snow is due this week - our glorious fall is coming to an end. We have a fire going in the great room and my mind is wandering to hearty stews.
