Why is is Paris looks so beautiful and sophisticated in black and white? It's like they were made for one another. Love these photos and the two boys at the piano - magic.
Oh, your photos make me swoon!! We are trying to decide where to go for our 20th wedding anniversary this year. If we pick Paris, would you have the time to give me a list of what to do and where to stay? I don't want to go anywhere without recommendations, so our precious time won't be wasted. Thanks, Laurie
Hello Laurie and thank you!! How wonderful to make Paris an option for your grand 20th anniversary... it would be my pleasure to give you recommendations, I'll send you an email!
I really like the Paris street photography. You manage to include people without invading privacy. I also like the street shots in B&W - the ordinary charm and sophistication of Paris is showcased. What a sweet moment in time of the boys - memory worthy!
Street photography takes courage and patience, but the end results can be very gratifying. Thank you so much for the encouragement, I'll keep at it! :)
Thank you Jill. It's interesting how we record moments, how we remember them inside memories and how they eventually look and feel in our minds... in color or monochrome, high contrast or muted, sharp or faded, in wide sweeping imagery or small small details....
Oh my, thanks for today's visit. From the little details, to the scenic, you capture the heart of "our" city so beautifully! Love the brothers on the piano bench...from the messy hair, to the relaxed feel that comes only in the safe place that is home and family.
Sigh! These are perfect captures of a magical city. I visited it long ago as a romantic teen, and it did not disappoint me. There is just something about Paris. I love the door to the cafe best!
Your photography is so beautiful! Paris is so photogenic, but it also takes an eye to take pretty pictures of it! Thanks for sharing at Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop
